These fatty acids cannot be produced by our bodies and therefore have to be gained from our diet. They are highly beneficial in preventing various types of heart diseases.

Olives are a rich source of healthy fats. One serving of 20 small black olives contains less than 100 calories and makes for a superb snack as well. This snack contains a good quantity of iron, fiber, minerals such as iron and copper and vitamin E. Controlled drinking for many people can have real health benefits, but it’s not for everyone.

These are just some of the ways a variety of food can prevent us from falling ill and keep us healthy. A healthy balanced diet can keep us feeling youthful and energetic. Our diet can go a long way in keeping us fit.
